The trails of the Point Dume’s bluff lead to two overlooks. Through the trail, one can access the secluded beach. Also, the popular beach on the other point can also be visited.
Malibu Creek State Park
The Malibu Creek State Park is the recreational crown jewel of the Santa Monica Mountains. It has over 8,000 acres of rolling tallgrass plains, dramatic peaks, and oak savannahs. This place is popularly known as “The Yosemite of Southern California”. It was opened in 1976 and was formerly owned by 20th Century Fox Studios.
This place has a stunning terrain which has been shown in many movies. One can visit this place for hiking, climbing, riding, and explore its spectacular terrain.
This park includes all sorts of backdrops one is in search of. Here, one can view volcanic cliffs, creeks, and amazing waterfalls as well.
Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area
The Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area provides individuals with surprisingly wild places. It is located on Mulholland Highway, Calabasas, California. This place was established on November 10, 1978.
It is governed by the National Park Service along with some other agencies. This place has many individual parks and open space preserves. It is the best region to experience the Mediterranean climate ecosystem. It protects the archaeological resources of very high densities. This recreational area is the largest urban national park in the United States.
